The Tamu, or the "local open market", of Kota Belud is open on every Sunday morning. There are a few Tamu in Sabah, but the Tamu Ground in Kota Belud is the biggest. Basically, you can find almost any daily use item for sale here, from food, drink, fruits, vegetables, traditional medicines, fish, crab, shrimp, shoes, cloth, handicraft, to livestock... all are fresh and raw from the local people.
