The Sabah State-Level Pesta Kaamatan (Harvest Festival) was launched in Kota Marudu this year. Harvest Festival was used to be celebrated by the KadazanDusun and Murut communities to appease Bambarayon, the Spirit of the Paddy. Now it has become an important annual event to appreciate the colourful cultures of Sabah.
