Pulau Balambangan (Balambangan Island) is an island in northern Kudat, and also one of the islands closest to Philippines. Over 20 limestone caves, all without a name, are found on Balambangan Island, but only four are studied. The rest are unexplored and undocumented. I try to document the caves before they are destroyed, because Sabah government is inviting developers to mine the limestone on the island..
